Baby goes to the hospital

We had a little scare this week when Val accidentally cut herself underneath her eye with her sharp little claws. She was bleeding out of both sides of her nose and her eye was filled with blood. It scared mommy a lot, but I knew she's probably be okay. Mommy and I rushed her to the puppy hospital and the doctor had to sedate her to look at her wound properly. Luckily, she didn't hurt her eye at all, and the doctor said that within 12 hours (once the sedation wore off), she would be good as new. Gosh, are all babies this accident prone? She's always getting stuck, scared, smooshed and stepped on, but she doesn't seem to mind. I'm so glad to be all grown up! Here's a picture of the patient... we had to wrap up her paws so she wouldn't accidentally scatch her eye at night.
