A Carol about Fairies

I'm Dreaming of a Red Fairy

I'm dreaming of a red Fairy
Just like the ones I used to know
Where they flutter and fly,
and flitter-fly by,
To see fairies all aglow.

I'm dreaming of a red Fairy
With every fairy friend aflight
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your fairy dreams come true

You are my Fairy,

my only fairy. You make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know Puck, how much I love you, so please don't take my fairies away."

Photos of Fairies!

Do you believe in fairies? For you skeptics out there, can you find the fairy in these photos?

I JUST LOVE FAIRIES!!!

The Stork visted our Barn

I went and saw my favorite horse today. She's the only horse I own and I just love her. I took her to the arena and helped my mommy lunge her... sometimes she needs a little extra motivation to canter, so I pretend like I'm a vicious bear and run behind her. I know mommy really appreciates my help because it's a lot of work owning a horse. There are stalls to be cleaned (I've got an extremely effective way to clean stalls, but mommy doesn't really like my way and uses a pitch fork, instead), feed to be tested (yeah, I'm really good at that - my baby sister and I just love horse feed!), trail rides to be taken, hooves to be trimmed (can I just say "snack time"), and of course cuddle time (yeah, my horse loves cuddle time almost as much as me). It's a full time job for a bear on the go, but it's totally worth it! I dig horses.

So the big news for me is that my horse is going to have a baby! Yippee! That means another horse to teach in the ways of the bear and how fun to have my very own baby! I hope it's a nice baby and doesn't bite me like Val does.

The Perfect Day

Sunshine, tennis ball, parents home from work, short trip in the car to our favorite trail, milk-bone biscuits-to-go, sunscreen (since I'm now "bear",) grapes in mommy's pack, long stroll with the fam, short car ride home, and CUDDLE TIME before bed. Now that's the perfect day.

Food for Thought

Madison's Culinary Advice:

If you're looking for a chocolate-dipped ice cream fairy, go to Fairy Queen.

If you're looking for a big double stacked BigFairy with lettuce, onions and tomatoes, watch for the yellow fairy wings and think "McFairies!"

Want a great place to get Bar-b-Que and homemade creamed fairies? Rudy's Bar-B-Fairy is the only place to go.

If you're thinking you'd like to lose a little extra fluff, don't let mom near you with the clippers! Just go to Souper-Fairies for a fairy filled salad, and some hot soup.

Want some apple dumplings? Cracker Fairy is popular and there are locations along the Interstate Highways throughout the US.

My personal favorite: a big Pollo (which means "fairy" in Spanish) Potato from Jason's Fairies. Mmmm good AND affordable (or so my daddy tells me).

So I'm Beautiful... Who Knew?

My adoring fans, as you can see I have a valid excuse for my blogging lapse. Mommy came home one day from work with clippers in hand and an evil gleam in her eyes. I tried to warn her, pleaded with her to act sensibly and within reason but she could not be placated until the hair had been shaved off of my chinny-chinny-chin. I've remained in hiding (on the new chaise lounge chair that Daddy bought me) and been utterly unsociable for the past several weeks. I am hopeful for the future, however, as my hair continues to grow one itty bit every day. So, though a mere wisp of my former self, I'm back and radiant!
